The following terms and conditions apply to the sale or repair of medical devices and/ or materials (goods) supplied or repaired by Adept (Technical Services) Limited. ('the Company', 'us' or 'our'). The placing of an order by a purchaser ('the Purchaser', 'he/she') implies acceptance of all of the terms and conditions.

All goods supplied by the Company shall remain the property of the Company until the Purchaser shall have paid the full price to the Company, but the risk shall pass to the purchaser at the time the goods reach the delivery point.

Prices are subject to alteration without prior notice and will be charged at the applicable rate at the time of despatch. Non-precious silver/white dental alloys will be used in the manufacture of medical devices unless the Purchaser marks on the prescription the alloy(s) he/she requires us to use in the manufacture. An extra charge will be made for dental alloys that contain gold and/ or other precious metals unless stated otherwise and will include a handling charge and a surcharge to cover the costs charged by our suppliers.

Terms are 30 days nett from the date of invoice. Any query concerning the account must be made in writing to the Company within 14 days of the date of the invoice. After this time the invoice will become payable. If payment of the invoice is not made to the Company within 45 days of the date of the invoice a stop may be put on any further credit and proceedings to recover the outstading debt may be started. A service charge of 2% per month may be made by the Company on accounts that remain unpaid for 60 days or more after the date of the invoice.
 
The Company shall not be liable for any damage or expenses or liability to third parties incurred by the Purchaser beyond the replacement of the goods or work on verification of the Purchaser’s complaint. The Company shall not be liable for any consequential loss by the Company’s failure or delay in supplying or repairing goods, whether or not the loss arises from the actions or omissions of the Company, its servants, agents or subcontractors. Advice, information or opinion given by an employee of the Company is given without legal responsibility. It is given in good faith but it is for the Purchaser to satisfy himself of the suitability of the goods for the particular purpose and the Purchaser shall be deemed to have done so. Medical devices are constructed to the prescription of the Purchaser and the Company cannot accept any responsibility for the suitability of that prescription. By fitting a device, the Purchaser acknowledges that the Company has produced the device to the Purchaser’s prescription and satisfaction.
